What is Permanent Makeup?
Also known as cosmetic tattooing, microblading or micropigmentation, permanent makeup uses a variety of small needles to implant pigment into the dermal layer of the skin. It provides the convenience not having to reapply makeup daily and since it is a tattoo, permanent makeup is water proof and will not smudge or smear. By using different techniques, you can have individual hair created to make them looked fuller, or to fill in sparse areas. Alternatively for a more makeup effect, we can also create a soft powder look. Both results will be natural and subtle. Eyeliners can be a full liquid liner effect, or a subtle lash enhancement to emphasis the lashes. Lips can be more defined & lined, colored and shape corrected.

How long will they last?
Cosmetic tattoo treatments are considered semi-permanent and will not wash off, however, they will fade over time and may need to be refreshed yearly. Most eyebrow and lip treatments will last 12-18 months between color boosts, eye liners tend to last a lot longer – 2 years plus in a lot of cases.
Frequency of touch ups depends on the pigment color used, your skin type, your health and your life style.

Does it hurt?
On a scale from 1 – 10, most clients say it’s a 3. There will be applications of numbing cream.

How long does it take?
Procedure takes approximately 2 – 3 hours to complete.

Will you draw on the shapes first?
Yes, we won’t start on you until you agree on the color selected and the shape.

How long does it take to heal?
Complete healing process takes between 25 – 30 days. The procedures require no down time.

Touch up: For best result, touch up appointment is recommended within 6-8 weeks after initial appointment.
